Cardinals Game

We went to the Cardinals game this week and we had so much fun. They were off to slow start so Madison and I took a trip to the bathroom. Of course as we go into the bathroom we hear loud cheers and fireworks. We missed a homerun. Madison was so disappointed and said that will probably be the only homerun tonight. She was not disappointed for long because we got to witness a grand slam. It was pretty awesome! The Cardinals ended up winning 8 to 6.

Girls Weekend in Indianapolis

The girls and I met my Mom, Katie, and Hallie in Indianapolis for the weekend. We walked along the canal, ate dinner and had s'mores. We went along the canal in paddleboats, shopped, swam, and painted our toes and fingernails. We had so much fun! My girls didn't want to leave and can't wait to do it again.

First Day of School

Gavin started 6th grade at middle school. Madison started 3rd grade, and Dylan and Camryn started another year in pre-k. My kids are in three different schools so I am grateful Gavin and Madison don't mind riding the bus. So far everyone loves their classes and teachers!

Citygarden

We went to the Citygarden in St. Louis today. It was our last activity before school starts. We had a lot of fun! Even though the high was only 76 and there was lots of shivering. It has been a crazy summer. In the 6 years we have lived here it has never been this temperature in August. It has been wonderful!

Zoo

We went to the zoo with some friends this summer. This summer has been pretty mild so we have actually been able to do some fun things instead of swimming. The kids love going to the zoo and I love it because it is free. I had to add a picture of Gavin on the carousel because it's rare that he gets on it.

Pioneer Day

Our ward had a picnic to celebrate Pioneer Day. We played pioneer games, ate dutch oven food, and made crafts. They also had a back drop for pictures. When we pulled up the first thing Dylan wanted to do was get his picture taken. He thought it would be so funny to pose as a girl. After I took his picture and I showed it to him he couldn't stop laughing. I thought he looked pretty funny too.
