Childrens Museum

While in Ohio we went to a children's museum. The kids had a lot of fun. I stayed in the area for the little kids and watched them dress up in all the costumes. Dylan and Camryn were in heaven! They love to dress up. Dylan was really the only one who would pose for the camera. He is such a cutie! He tried on every single costume they had.

Ohio

After Halloween we headed to Ohio for my nephew's baptism. We had so much fun spending time with my family. We went to one of our favorite Amish places to get a treat and to see the animals. Grandpa bought a few new cowboy hats which the kids love. The newest addition was the giant rocking chair. Wouldn't that be nice to sit in on your porch.

Class Parties

I helped with class parties this year for Madison, Dylan, and Camryn. It was a lot of fun seeing all the cute costumes. They played a lot of fun games and had really yummy snacks. And of course got tons of candy.

Trick or Treating

We went trick or treating with friends from our neighborhood this year. Everyone had so much fun. When we made it back near our house Gavin and Dylan were ready to be done. However Madison and Camryn were still going strong so I took the them to some more houses. When we got home I took Madison to the Plummer mansion to trick or treat. We heard they give out good stuff. There were so many people, it was crazy! They did give a bag full of candy and a really cool pen. Worth it? I don't think so.

Scarecrow Contest

We went to the Village of Glen Carbon to pick our favorite scarecrows again. There were a lot of really creative ones to choose from.

Mills Apple Farm

We took our annual trip to pick apples with the Hawk family. The weather was beautiful and the apples were pretty tasty. We got quite a haul of apples too since we had six people picking them. As always everyone had fun playing at the playground.

Madison's baptism

Madison was baptized on September 15 by her dad. She was so excited! My family came for the occasion. Her Grandma Binks spoke about baptism and her Grandma Hawk spoke about the Holy Ghost. Madison is such a special girl. She is so compassionate and really strives to do what is right. She is such a good sister and friend!

Branson- miniature golf

We also went miniature golfing while we were there. My kids have never been before and they loved it. It took us a long time to get through the course, but we made it without losing any golf balls. That was a big accomplishment since it took the kids so many times to make it in the hole.

Branson- Table Rock Lake

One of the days we were in Branson we took a walk along the lake. It was beautiful and the kids had so much fun finding shells and throwing rocks. You will notice they still have their duck whistles.

Branson- Ride the Ducks

While in Branson we took a ride on the ducks. It was so much fun and each of the kids were able to drive when we were in the water. They also gave everyone a duck whistle and yes four kids blowing duck whistles drove me crazy!

Madison's Birthday

We celebrated Madison's birthday in Branson, but before we left the girls went to the American Girl doll store. She was in heaven and was able to pick a few things for her doll. She opened the rest of her presents in Branson and we celebrated with a cookie cake and ice cream! We sure love this girl!
